About Sasurai

Tappei is the founder of Sasurai Inc., a Kyoto-based company dedicated to offering meaningful, guest-centered experiences for international travelers. While not involved in guiding or photography himself, he leads the company’s vision and direction with a deep understanding of cultural hospitality and business development.

After completing an eight-month language program in the UK, he traveled through Europe for one month before returning to Japan. Inspired to better understand his own country, he spent extended time exploring Japan from north to south, experiencing regional traditions, architecture, and landscapes firsthand.

This cross-cultural perspective now informs Sasurai’s mission: to help visitors create unforgettable memories while also supporting sustainable tourism and cultural preservation in Japan.
